LeatherFlair paintings are created on a 100% leather canvas which is washed, stretched, softened & sanded to a smooth finish by hand. The base image is artistically carved or etched by hand. The leather is moist as I hand brush the finest leather dye in to soak in the leather resulting in a clean, permanent image & becomes as one with the leather. The leather is then washed & dried. I usually add a gloss coat , but it depends on how I want the image to appear to the eye. My product is the art, not the frame, you may easily re-frame the piece to suit your taste & decor. I sign all of my creations.
